Niner Phone service provides telecommunications service to the UNC Charlotte community. Communication services are provided by a digital switching system, using the latest digital and fiber optic technology and are tailored to meet the needs of the campus community.

Extension 78800 is a "help desk" designed specifically for assisting residential students with their telephone needs. General telephone inquiries, trouble/repair reports and dialing questions should be directed to 78800.
