The Cisco Unified Personal Communicator is a desktop computer application that offers voice, video, instand messaging, conference and presence information through a single application for you PC or laptop. You can use it as your primary phone or together with a conventional desktop model. It is best as a single line phone (no capability to answer other in-coming lines) but still provides access to all the standard business telephony features. CUPC provides powerful communications features integrated with your desktop computer, including integrated contact lists, click to call, voicemail playback, inbound call notification, and media escalation. You can search your contacts and click to call through the integrated soft phone. Pop-up notification of incoming calls, as well as video features allow you to see who is calling.
