ITE-12+

The ITE-12+ is a multi-button telephone featuring 12 programmable line/feature buttons, an internal one-way speaker for on-hook dialing, and user adjustable ringer, tone, and speaker volume controls. LED associated with each of the 12 buttons indicates feature and line status.

ITE-12S

The ITE-12S is a multi-button telephone featuring 12 programmable line/feature buttons, internal speaker for on-hook dialing and two-wav speakerphone capabilities with On/Off and Microphone Mute buttons. Ringer, tone, and speaker volumes are user adjustable. LED associated with each of the 12 buttons indicates feature and line status.

ITE-12SD

The ITE-12SD features 12 programmable line/feature buttons, an internal two-way speakerphone and a two line, 20-character LCD display. A handy contrast control allows the user to make fine adjustments to the display. High quality audio is incorporated into the design of the internal speakerphone. User efficiency is promoted through practical controls for Speakerphone On/Off, Microphone Mute and Speaker Volume. LED associated with each of the 12 buttons indicates feature and line status. User adjustable control for ringer tone and volume are also provided.

ITE-30SD

The ITE-30SD is a high style, full-featured, 30 button digital telephone featuring an internal high quality speakerphone, a large 40-character LCD display and an internal handset amplifier. The ITE-30SD sports a blue accent strip to complement your office decor. An optional custom color accent band and logo/graphic are available. The ITE-30SD has four fixed feature buttons programmed as Transfer, Display, Hold and Redial, and 26 buttons which can be programmed as any combination of lines or features.

Telephone Features

Telecommunication provides phone service to faculty and staff through a network of Intecom switches. We offer four (4) standard types of phones to meet the telecommunication needs of all departments. DISTINCTIVE RINGING

Your telephone service provides distinctive ringing for on campus and off campus calls:

  • ONE ring repeated every few seconds means an on campus party is calling.
  • TWO short rings repeated every few seconds indicates an off campus party is calling.
  • THREE short rings repeated every few seconds indicates a system call or callback

3-WAY CALLING

You can send an existing call to another extension and announce the call or form a conference between three parties:

1. In a conversation, ask the party to wait

2. Press XFER or CONFERENCE button (the party is on transfer hold)

3. Dial extension or 9 + outside number of third party

4. Advise called party this is a 3 party call

5. Press XFER or CONFERENCE button (all three parties are joined)

Note: If third party does not answer, return to first party by pressing XFER.

CALLBACK

The Callback feature automatically calls you back (with 3 rings) when the busy on-campus extension you are trying to reach becomes free. When you answer, you hear the extension you called begin to ring. If you ignore the ring back, the called extension does not ring and the phone system cancels the callback. You can only Callback on one extension at a time; this feature is only effective for on-campus extensions.

To leave a Callback on a busy extension:

1. Listen for busy signal, press CALL BACK and hear confirmation tone, OR

2. Depress switch hook and hear 'Enter', key in *7

3. Hang-up

ABBREVIATED DIALING

Abbreviated dialing allows you to use one-digit codes to dial the numbers you use most frequently. You make your own directory containing up to 10 numbers, and you assign each number an abbreviated dial code (0 to 9). Ten abbreviated dial codes are available extension number.

To set-up an abbreviated dial code:

1. Lift receiver - listen for dial tone

2. Press ABREV DIAL * or key in # 4 * and the abbreviated dial code (0 to 9)

3. Hear confirmation tone - dial the number

4. Hear confirmation tones and hang up

To make an abbreviated dial call:

1. Lift receiver - listen for dial tone

2. Press ABREV DIAL and the abbreviated dial code or key in # 4 and the abbreviated dial code

CALL FORWARDING

The Call Forward feature allows you to program your extension to automatically redirect incoming calls to ring at another number (or voice mail 73500). Each line on your phone is forwarded and canceled separately.

To set Call Forward:

1. Lift receiver - listen for dial tone

2. Press FORWARD and hear confirmation tone or key in *3 and hear confirmation tone

3. Dial the phone number that you want to direct the calls to and hear confirmation tone

4. Hang-up

To cancel Call Forward:

1. Lift receiver - listen for dial tone

2. Press FORWARD and hear confirmation tone or key in #3 and hear confirmation tone

3. Hang-up
